  CONTACyT Scholarships for postgraduate studies
The Mexican Council for Science and Technology (Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología, CONACyT) offers full scholarships for Mexican students that want to study a Master’s Degree or PhD, or do research abroad in the fields of science and technology.

Selection criteria
Target group: Master's degree, PhD degree
Purpose: Study, Research
Field of study: Agriculture, forestry and fishery , Architecture and town planning, Engineering, Environmental Science, Communication, Mathematics and computer science, Medical and health sciences, Natural sciences, Transport and communications
Countries: Mexico
Eligible candidates: Prospective postgraduate students. Preference is given to prospective PhD students.

Value and purpose of grant : Tuition fee, medical insurance and 990 euros per month for living costs

Grant award period :

-          Specialization: max. 12 months

-          Master’s degree: max. 24 months

-          PhD: max. 36 months


Closing date : 
CONACyT usually opens two or three calls per year. The most important call opens in February/March until May, results are published in July.
