The Mexican National Bank (Banco de México) provides special loans for students that want to do a postgraduate programme in Mexico or in another country.

Selection criteria

Target group:	Master's degree, PhD degree
Purpose:	Research, Study
Field of study:	Agriculture, forestry and fishery , Architecture and town planning, Arts and Humanities, Business administration and management, Communication, Education and Teacher Training, Engineering, Environmental Science, Law, Mathematics and computer science, Medical and health sciences, Natural sciences, Service, Tourism and Leisure, Social and behavioural sciences, Transport and communications
Countries:	Mexico
Eligible candidates:	Students that have been accepted in a postgraduate programme. General requirements: - Have the Mexican nationality - Have at least an average grade of 8.0 during the Bachelor’s degree - Age limit: 30 years for Master’s degree, 35 years for PhD.

Value and purpose of grant : A loan of max. 200,000 pesos that can be used for tuition fee, living costs, insurance, etc.

Grant award period : 9 – 26 months
